"The hotel is adjacent to the thermal spa facilities with a connecting bridge. There is a beautiful park nearby with a nice walk on river banks. The hotel/spa complex was built in the 1980s and everything looks dated and in need of a full upgrade. That said, staff was very nice, breakfast was very good and the thermal facilities were nice. Hotel guests must pay 40 euros per room per day for access. The hotel is dog friendly as well. The room rate was quite low so overall it was reasonable value. It could be an amazing place with some investments."
"Great hotel in a quiet location not far from the city centre 15mins walk. Just by the river nice walks and restaurants and guingettes around. Supermarket walking distance too. No Aircon though this is probably the only thing that was a negative for us as it was 35c outside. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Good parking although spaces are a little tight. Overall great stay would recommend if visiting Vichy"
"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Arverna! We arrived very late after traveling to Vichy for the Tour de France, with a large group, three rooms, and what felt like an endless amount of luggage. The manager could not have been more patient, kind, and accommodating throughout our arrival. They made a potentially stressful check-in so easy and welcoming.
Although it was a quick stay, everything was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we’re ever back in Vichy. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"Helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner, A/C in the room.
On the negative side, rooms are tiny and there doesn't seem to be an attendant on premises at night."
"Very peaceful and natural atmosphere. Great facilities, very good breakfast. Loved the artistic and craft touches to the accommodations. Made it a stay to remember."
"Accueil très agréable et convivial. Chambre très calme. Personnel bienveillant et poli. Tout pour rendre le séjour agréable. Petit déjeuner buffet généreux. Quartier le vieux Vichy à deux pas de la cathédrale très charmant. "
