"We had a wonderful stay here. Staff was great everywhere on the grounds. Food & service was good, a little on the higher price said. We did have the majority of our meals there as the drive to town isn't the closest. The slopes were well groomed. My son and I spent the entire day on them. The rooms were decent and clean. We are planning to return next year for more skiing fun. "
"The room was exceptional. Large sitting room, large comfortable bed. Quiet. Everything was great. Not a cookie cutter room like you get in the chain hotels. The room reminded me of the rooms in old John Wayne movies. Our room would have been reserved for the governor! "
"The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays.
Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous stay. The fireplace in the room was my favorite feature. Bed and bedding were like sleeping on a cloud. Book a suite with river view if possible. The view is quite wonderful!
I saw the inn keeper every day. He’s very friendly, talks to everyone, and truly wants you to have a wonderful stay.
I highly recommend dinner at least once at the restaurant there. The food is exquisite! Keep in mind that lunch and snacks aren’t offered. Bring things from home, there’s a fridge and microwave in every room."
"The desk clerk was polite, efficient, and very informative. Breakfast had a little bit of variety rooms were clean and spacious and easy parking. Also very quiet."
"My friend and I were very happy with the cabin. It was beautiful and located in the forest. Huge windows allowed us to enjoy the beauty outside as well. I had a little trouble locating it and the owner offered to stay on the phone with me to point out directions. I recommend this cabin to others."
