Best Western Plus Ft Lauderdale Hollywood Airport Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great place to stay for cheap $ before a cruise or after flights etc. but wouldn’t stay long term. Clean rooms. Included breakfast and area for that was really nice. "
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ft Lauderdale Airport/Cru by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was basic hot buffet (small omelettes, biscuits and sausage gravy) and make your own waffle or pancake (not sure which), coffee was very good, other basic items such as fruit, yogurt, breads, juices, cereals, hot oatmeal, a pastry. Perhaps some others, can't remember.
Airport shuttle to the hotel took a little while to show up and it was a cluster of people and shuttles waiting, eventually it worked, but was quite a wait. Shuttle from airport to our cruise port was smooth and easy, nothing to complain about with that."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Plantation at SW 6th St
8/10 Good
"Not bad at all. Biggest issue was there was no Netflix and I wanted to watch beauty in black! But I had a nice rest, bed was pretty good. Bfast was ok. But property was too pricey not to have better tv options and bfast. "
"Staff very nice at check in, room was ready early which was a plus.. Rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was great , experience overall was excellent. It was Spring Break and a lot of cruises going on but you wouldn’t have known it with the staff. They were very accommodating and pleasant. Had a burger from the cafe and it was very good. Starbucks in the lobby too.
Shuttle service was quick, easy Uber to the Broadwalk which we definitely suggest. Water taxi as well. Lots to see and nice restaurants..
overall experience was EXCELLENT! "
"We had to go to the front desk three times to get a key to open the door, then maintenance came bc it was broken. The toilet smelled like old pee the whole time. The window was broken and couldn’t close so it was drafty. There was a dirty towel on the floor when we checked into the room. "
"The front desk, the cleaning crew and the distant manager were all incredibly professional and nice helped me with the situation. I’m definitely gonna go and stay there when I visit Pembroke pines"
