Very picturesque, loved the scenery, the staff was amazing, the rooms were very castle like just like we expected. Not many places to eat so plan your meals carefully if you don't want to drive to find a restaurant . We highly recommend this castle, we absolutely loved it.
Curro extremely helful, he went out of his way to provide us with an evening meal despite the dining room was closed. Breakfast was excellent with home cooked jams, bread and big chunk of cake.
Amazing historical stay with exceptional breakfast
No hand rail as such but rope rail on stairs. Stairs even but if you struggle with balance a bit of a problem. Breakfast extremely good.. homemade apricot and strawberry jam no too sweet. Apricot jam was outstanding. Continental breakfast well with the money.
Amazing cozy little castle, very well preserved. We really felt the medieval vibe. Curro is an incredible host and he gave us a wonderful tour around the castle and the church beside with very interesting history facts. He is the best host and an artist that makes your stay unforgettable Breakfast was delicious prepared by his wife Susana. A dream come true. Highly recommended

Curro, the Property Manager, was great. He gave us a tour of the castle and even arranged for a restaurant to open for supper. It was a Monday and usually everything is closed. He also met us at the restaurant to translate the menu items. He was very accommodating. He even sang a song for us which was great!! It was a fabulous experience staying in the castle!
Wow, this place is AMAZING!
The hotel manager was really helpful and friendly. All the guests were invited to join a wine tasting, totally complimentary.
When we joined the others in the evening it turned out to be everyone sat at a long table with glasses ready. One man explained the rudimentaries of wines and in between, the hotel manager sang lots of funny songs with a guitarist. What an unexpected pleasure! Something we will never forget.
The castle and our room were lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer...maybe next time.
We had an excellent experience with a caring host, who gave us a wonderful and funny tour of the Castille. He and his wife also cooked a delicious meal on our first evening.
The Castille is just that, an old castle that makes you feel like a time traveler.
It is a historic jewel and the hotel manager Curro is a very nice gentleman. He explained the history of the castle, he took us to the chapel which takes your breath away… it is very far from civilization. We arrived driving and we were concerned that we were getting to the right place. Worth it if you like to live a historic experience
To stay in a 13th century castle was cool. To have Curro as the host, made the stay even better. If i could rate it higher, I would have. Be aware, the stairs are narrow, so no big suitcases.
Unique experience. This property has lots of character and you should not miss the guided tour of the castle (in spanish). I will keep good and lastimg memories from my stay. Recommended if you are looking for a different experience.
Remote location in a poor village but that’s the attraction.
Extremely quaint rooms, stairs with rope banisters.
Host gave us a wonderful tour of the castle and let us handle all the swords and pikes. Also a great showing of the chapel
Little difficult finding the entrance from the parking lot in back of the Castle. Never made a sharper or steeper left turn getting there.
