"The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and located in the building next to the hotel. The fan was helpful with the heat as air conditioning is not available due to the heritage building in keeping with the town inside the city walls. It was challenging to get our luggage to the hotel as there is no other way than pulling them for about 400 meters over cobblestone from where the hotel parking is located. I suggest you pack light as the small wheels on suitcases make the trip difficult.
The flavoured cold water in the lobby is a nice touch but only available as a welcome drink when you arrive, not for refills.
Overall a pleasant stay in a beautiful town!"
"Excellent hotel in the lovely town of Munster. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, when I was there, and there is only one other establishment open in the town that provides a very limited menu on Sundays."
"This hotel is full of history and characters! Really enjoyed the decorations. The rooms are large for French hotels, and breakfast was rich. There is no air conditioning in the guest rooms, but it was comfortable during the night although it was a hot summer day around 35c during the daytime.
There are free parking spaces outside the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants in the walking distance from the hotel. Will love to stay there again."
"The location of this hotel is excellent, with the center of tourist activity within walking distance. We visited during the hottest summers on record and we toured the city and boated on the canal. I suggest taking the city train tour and have a relaxing tour of the old town. There are many fine restaurants in the old city, make reservations or get there early. I continued my journey after 2 days and I will visit Narbonne on the Southern coast."
"Booked last minute. Perfect for a weekend stopover whilst travelling. Pool added bonus. Breakfast service to order and collect fresh pastries is ideal. External lights outside room not working so was a bit dark but thought this might be to reduce bugs.
Suggestion for couple or chairs or bench nr table tennis table.
Beds comfortable apartment had everything needed, some furnishings looked a bit well used. Balcony a perfect treat to sit on, was very hot when we visited a large fan was provided which worked well until we had to close doors at bedtime, a second fan for the bed room may have been of help but still with such hot weather it was just moving hot air about. Perfect location for walking into the village where there are plenty of places to eat just be mindful if you go on Sunday as less options as lots where closed for food."
"I had a great experiance as a solo traveler.room was spacious and fully stocked up breakfast was very tasty and plentyfull and i always appreciate a freshly squeezed orange juice and the cakes...had dinner there too it was xlent and the somelier was very helpfull...beware service is slow as everything is prepared while you wait...there is a well stocked bar with single malts whiskys and organic gins..will return"
