"Not a lot of options here, but the Majestic is grossly overpriced so the Lodge is your only option for a traditional hotel experience. Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. Location is excellent for access to Valley activities."

"My stay at the Evergreen Lodge was a mixed bag.
Pros.. All of the staff were very kind and grounds beautiful. The recreation center and restaurant a definite plus and proximity to Yosemite without staying in the park wonderful. My room had a fridge, safe, tea kettle, and coffee maker.
Cons… I stayed in one of the “vintage” cottages, the bed was creaky and very uncomfortable so I did not sleep well the week I stayed. The smell of the cleaning products they used were so strong I had to open the windows and door for 2 hours upon entry to make it bearable.
I called before booking and asked if they use hypo allergenic detergents and the front desk staff didn’t know but said the pillows are hypo allergenic so the detergent probably is. Unfortunately it was not. Fortunately I was driving from home and was able to bring my own linens just in case.
The room itself was not as clean as it could have been, the top of the fridge covered in dust, the curtain to the closet had a spider web clutch (the pouch spiders make for their eggs) which told me it had been there awhile.
Overall for $270 a night - the room was not worth it.
The store had many items that were gluten free and vegan friendly but beware nothing is priced and it was $17.25 for a box of crackers and small tub of hummus.
Before I left I did ask to check out the glamping set ups, as they have new pillow top mattresses and they were quite nice. I would stay again but will avoid the rooms until they get new mattresses."
"It was after dark when we checked in we checked in . After we unpacked we discovered there were black ants on the kitchen counter top - we killed about twenty. Went out to get some food and came back and found more ants. Called the main desk and they sent someone to spray the kitchen area. Wife went to bed and I was trying to sign- on to the internet and saw something moving in the room - it was a lizard. Also saw more ants. Went to the front desk to complain (they did move us to a different room) but they made excuses - "well we are in a forest area", etc. Also complained about not being able to sign on to the internet ( they scoffed (one of them actually chuckled) and said it must be my laptop - have NEVER had a problem anywhere else!). New room was cleaner (no ants) but had hair in the bath tub drain and the utensils and some plates were not clean (same as we found in the original room - plus the sponge they give to wash plates and utensils - no dishwasher- was a used one). For what we paid I would gladly pay more to stay inside the park or ANY WHERE ELSE."
"We had an amazing time here! We loved the airstream it was super cosy and beautifully designed. The communal areas were lovely and the complimentary granola breakfast was very very yummy. The fire bundles they sell in the store were difficult to light at the airstream’s personal fire pit but apart from that everything was perfect. Definitely want to come back! "
"The cabin was spacious, clean, and packed with amenities. The only downside is there is NO FREE WIFI. You have to purchase the package yourself. Laundry opens 24/7, and plenty of parking along the property."
