"Lovely couple of hosts, very homely and welcoming. Great situation, great beach only minutes away. Great golf courses abound. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was good too. Very dog friendly with Harris the golden retriever welcoming everyone who brings a dog."

"The Pine Marten was a great base for our stay in Dunbar. The town centre was about a 20 minute walk and it was very handy having a supermarket on the same site. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. A slight criticism would be that we stayed two nights and whilst I understand the environmental reasons for not changing towels everyday it would have been nice if someone popped in to replenish our tea and coffee supply. That aside we enjoyed our stay, thanks "

"Excellent value accommodation just outside Dundee. Checked in at the bar, the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to the room. The room was in an external motel style block. The room was quite basic but was clean and everything worked. OK. For the money it does the job perfectly and we would definitely return."
