"The setting of Batad Pension is unbelievably beautiful. It’s worth the trek in to spend the night there and really enjoy Batad. In addition, the owner is lovely and warm, cooks lovely food, and goes out of her way to be helpful to her visitors. I highly recommend Batad Pension and Restaurant"

"Ramon's homestay is a great place to stay in Batad. The rooms are rustic with that provides basic needs for a homestay. You're provided with million dollar views and if you get to meet Mang Ramon, you are in for a treat as his hospitality is that "home" feel that you are looking for."

"We had a great 2 nights there, the 3 musketeers (staff) were friendly, helpful and very good company. The food was very fresh and tasty. If you are looking for a tour guide we would highly recommend Kim Dumulag, who was good company, knowledgeable and passionate about his people."
