A great location for the perfect beach holiday! The hotel amenities were excellent and the variety of food was great especially the lunch time selection. The drink selection was exceptional and the staff were very kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and am hoping to be back in the future.

Wow, amazing stay. The bedroom was beautiful, incredible views, impeccably clean, and everything felt luxurious. Staff so lovely and helpful. Cocktails were delicious, and so much choice of food. I just loved it here and can’t wait to return.

A very beautiful, all-inclusive resort close to the airport. The only downside is that the activities are closed because it is the winter season. The rooms are beautiful and the meals are delicious and varied.

This hotel was the epitome of a perfect vacation, offering unparalleled relaxation and fun, exceeding my expectations. The staff were great, the food was fresh and delicious. the rooms were clean and the grounds (with pool and beach access) were immaculate. The Baia Lara was great and we had a lovely time! What we loved: 1) the grounds and facilities were awesome. Beautiful, clean, more swimming pools than I could count and with direct access to Lara beach. No matter how busy it was, you could always find a sun lounger. And if you’re into social media, there are a ton of places for ‘instagrammable’ shots. 2) the food! Oh the food! Lots of variety and it was delicious. You really can’t go hungry at this hotel. Would’ve been nice to have some dairy free desserts, but honestly, it was quite the spread. 3) the spa treatments were fantastic. If you do go, do get a deep tissue massage from Shema, she’s awesome. I came home feeling super relaxed! 4) the staff - what a great team! Friendly, helpful and so accommodating. If you have little children, this is great hotel. I didn’t use it myself but the kids’ club facilities looked great and they had a lot of activities going on for the little ones (including a parade for the national day for children. Super cute!) For the areas to improve: 1) the outdoor cleaning team keep the grounds looking immaculate, the rooms could use the same standard. The rooms were clean, just not spotless (e.g, finger marks on doors etc). The spa was great but a little dated, but I loved using the facilities though. Would I go back to the Baia Lara? Absolutely. We had a fantastic time!!

Decent hotel with great food in payable a la carte but below average food in buffet. We did visit in November and it was the winter will low occupancy. Air con didn’t work and no iron in the room. The shower was hot but poor pressure.

The hotel is very nice, clean, in good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. The choice of dishes is quite large, the products are fresh, however, there are not many vegetarian dishes. The only negative I can note is the bartender. He is not very enthusiastic about his work. The cocktails are prepared terribly: the quality is very bad, and the execution is completely wrong (I am a bartender 😉). Otherwise, we had a great time.

We had a lovely stay at Baia Lara mid November. The hotel and rooms are very comfortable with beautiful gardens and pools. The indoor heated pools (heated from 1st November) were a bonus and our little one had a great time in the kids pool. Food was good and varied with plenty of something for everyone. Entertainment was quite limited but understand that this can be the case during the winter. Not a problem for us. The only negative was that the rooms were quite hot and the A/c was inefficient so that leaving the balcony door open let in mosquitos and we did get a few bites. There are no mosquito nets at the doors, these would be a welcome addition.

Lived the property. Food and entertainment excellent. Beach fabulous, plenty of chairs for guests at pool and beach. Only problem was that the sheets were poor quality and scratchy. If you have room in your bags bring your own from home!
