"We enjoyed every moment! The tent was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our visit amazing:) A beautiful setting and very well maintained grounds. We got to enjoy breakfast on the deck with the Wallabies. Perfect experience to add to the Island. "

"Disappointing. While the hotel is in the process of being extended and refurbished, that did not include the room we stayed in which although spacious and clean was in need of an update. The hanging space and vanity were tiny, especially for such a large room. Eating out options at American River for dinner are extremely limited. Dinner at the hotel was expensive and service not to standard. While the staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and doing their best they were under resourced for the workload. Apparently, a tour bus group had checked in for that night. "

Loved the architecturally designed space, great views of the sea, and the proximity of native wildlife. It was quiet and relaxing to stay here. The host was attentive without being obtrusive and gave us several suggestions about where to eat and what to see. Highest of recommendations -- a real jewel."

"Loved the view from the balcony. View of the sea and the links. Kangaroos all over the place and very good for bird watching too. The room was spotless and everything was in good order. Very good value for the money. Highest of recommendations. The restaurant was great and the suite was huge."
