"The property needs a lot of TLC. Wifi and cable are definitely not the best and often go out. TV didn’t work half of my stay and I had to call three times to get it fixed. The bed was comfortable; however, other family members in different rooms had some weird metal box under their bed and it squeaked and was uncomfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nobody was available to come and fix anything in the evening or at night. Pipes make loud noises that woke me up."
"Well, this place is currently undergoing renovations, I was not aware when I booked it. No internet & no TV. Seemed clean enough until I found some hair (not mine in the shower & bathroom sink). The people I was travelling with had issues checking in. Bed was really comfortable, did not use the pool/hot tub but it looked OK. Not sure about the condiments."
"First of all, I would like to say that I love the Delta King. You can feel the history when you walk along the halls and it was very nostalgic.
I expected it to be a little funky because the boat is nearly 100 years old and I was right. The rooms are a little small and you have to pull a chain to flush the toilet, which I thought was cute. I stayed on the river side which was perfect! I woke up to seals every morning. The front desk staff were excellent, especially Albert!
The reason for giving it two stars is because I have been trying to get a hold of the manager, Apple Mota through email, and leaving multiple messages for a return call. As I was checking out, I told the front desk that I needed to speak with a manager and that it was very important and they said she would not be in until Friday and this was on Wednesday. I ended up writing a letter to Ms. Mota describing the incident that happened in my room. I was traveling alone without my husband and was put in a very uncomfortable and frightening position by one of the employees.
To me, the Delta King is like royalty among boats. No one should ever feel that way when they’re staying on a property and especially the Delta King. I’m embarrassed for them and their manager should be in the unemployment line. If I was in the position over her head, I’d certainly fire her on the spot!"
"The couch pull-out bed was a joke. Creaky, soft, saggy, metal from mattress frame sticking up into back. Got no sleep. And the wall-mounted AC was so loud, it was a huge distraction. No peace, no sleep. Not an enjoyable stay."
"This place was incredible to be able to bring our dog to this fantastic hotel. All the staff were incredible. They really made us feel at home and comfortable"
