"Room for 3, ok size, bathroom a little cramped. Disability parking in courtyard and stairs lifts inside. Outdoor pool open in summer, restaurant on ground floor, reception on first floor."
"Strange place. It is a converted house, so basically you can hear everything that happens in all of the rooms near you. Plus train noise, but that wasn’t too bad.
Bed was comfortable, good pillows and bedding. Bathroom in the room I was in was inte. Had a cheeta statue and a palm tree in it. Good shower, tub, etc.
Now the bad part, aboy5 flights of stairs up to the room, 4 outside, dark and not maintained. Zero possibility for a handicapped or elderly person.
I don’t think I would stay here again, but it may work for some."
"Not as advertised!
The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Those are the only good things I can say.
I checked in late at night and had to return to reception to ask for towels because there were none at all in the room. Air conditioning did not work and when I went back to reception again and asked for a different room the receptionist told me that no rooms in the entire hotel had functioning air con.
It's a budget hotel and I didn't expect luxury but I do expect the room to be as advertised and the lack of air conditioning is unforgivable.
I was likewise unimpressed that neither of the two receptionists I spoke to could speak English even though the hotel is advertised to have multilingual staff with English specifically mentioned. It's the false advertising I object to, not the actual absence of language skills.
I've complained to Expedia but they tell me if could take months to correct the way the place is advertised."
