Very dated decor and rooms. Breakfast buffet is very limited variety and nothing grand but ok if you love cold meats, cereal etc. - coffee was lovely.

City hotel

This hotel was a stones throw away from Antwerp station. Very close to all the sites and easy to get around the city. They offer a good continental breakfast. I found the hotel could do with a bit of freshen up. A little refurb here and there is needed.

The property was in a good location next the train stain. Easy to get to and in a safe neighborhood with close proximity to the city. Our room was not ready upon arrival so we waited for their staff to prepare the room in the lobby. Once in the room we knew that we needed out. Mattress needs burned and the whole place might need some candles to get the dingy smell out if it. The bathroom was very clean. I found another place down the road that was slightly more expensive and it was awesome. Staff was able to get my refund processed for the next two nights and were understanding.

The host at reception was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Only complaint was each morning was woken up early by housekeeping outside in hallway cleaning other rooms. I understand this needs done however the level of noise before 10am was unpleasant. On the second morning we were once again woken by housekeeping cleaning the hallway. Then also knocking on our door despite having the do no disturb sign up. When I answered they asked had we been smoking in the room. Neither of us smoke and I informed them of this and that we were both still sleeping. Other than the housekeeping issues the stay was good. Breakfast had a good Continental selection and some eggs. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful with any requests.

Bij binnenkomst stonden de bedden scheef en zaten er vlekken op een van de lakens. Dit werd wel direct opgelost door het personeel. Er was enig onderhoud nodig in de kamer (lekkende douche, loszittende kraan), maar al met al een prima verblijf. Bedden waren niet te hard, dus lekker geslapen. Waterkoker op de kamer met koffie en thee. Het straatje zelf vond ik er niet zo gezellig uitzien, maar je zit op maximaal 10 minuten lopen van het station en winkelstraten. Veel restaurants in de omgeving. Midden in de Joodse buurt en de diamantwijk. Simpel, maar was prima. Ontbijt was prima. Er waren diverse soorten brood, croissants, eieren, scrambled eggs, maar ook yoghurt met muesli en fruit. Genoeg te kiezen.

Overal schoonmaak was goed. Gedateerd hotel, bed, lamp, Tegel badkamer ect waren kapot. Dekbed was geclusterd en bevatte oude bloedplekken. Matrassen waren hard en oud. Stoelen kraakte badkamer was schoon. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en service gericht. Prima locatie

Die Mitarbeiter erwecken nicht den Eindruck, das man willkommen ist. Bei Reklamationen scheint es so, als wenn dies schon länger bekannt ist. Im Bad gab es erhebliche Schimmelbildung, der Duschvorhang war spakig. Nach der Reklamation wurde das untere Ende des Duschvorhanges abgeschnitten, auch ein No Go Die Nachttischlampe war so defekt, das der Lampenschirm schon bei Brührung entgegenkam. Das TV zeigte zwar mehr als 25 Programme an, letztendlich waren aber nur 6 Kanäle vorhanden. Aus unserer Sicht muss hier viel getan werden, damit wir noch einmal zu Gast sind. Aktuell gibt es für uns keine Wiederholung!!

Leider war die Klimaanlage so gut wie kaputt. War warm wir konnten die Fenster nicht offen weil zugeriegelt waren ,außerdem war keine Shampoos , Zahnpaste nur Seife .

It's a nice hotel but could be much better with small fixes. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value.The rooms are spacious, tea and coffee supplied.. The negative things - The matrases needs replacing. I knew in advance as it was mentioned many times in the comments. The mould around the bath could be cleaned with bleach or replaced Would givea much better impression of cleanliness.
