Dirty and worn down hotel

Looks like something that last had a makeover in the 60’s. Terrible bed. Dirty hallways. Noise from everywhere. Close to non-existing WiFi. And positive tings: location is fine.

They refused to accommodate us on the basis it was booked through Expedia, even though we had a confession number, etc. the owner of the hotel was not polite. Eventually Expedia found for us another hotel nearby. Please stay away from them

The room was dated to say the least. The curtains were not hung properly and were hanging off the rail. There was a kettle in the room but no cups/mugs or glasses. The furniture was in keeping with the decor (70’s). It was very basic and I do t know where to begin describing the bathroom. Would not recommend here at all.

Cleaning 1 time in a week , even after cleaning then you can see big black dots on towels and Sheets , all furnitures are almost died, all walls papers , carpets are very dirty , no any simple things like manuals , tea or cups , no any telephone in room ( means don’t call us , solve yourself) , you can clearly listen well next room , internet ? Forget it , not working . No permanent reception , you can find someone in kitchen. If you stay near elevator then you can wake up with truck sound middle of the night ( don’t worry it’s still elevator) . So if you thinking that you have already worse hotel experiences , still you have good opportunity to experience and waiting for you. You can tell this price equal to these facilities . I can tell , being old is different , being dirty and broken different.

Bad room and utilities

Was not able to lock the door when leaving room. Had to bring everything every day. Could not enter hotel after 10 pm, card reader was not working. No towels. Broken tiles in bathroom broken furniture. No cleaning. One super bright light in room. On the bright side this room did not smell and no bugs.

Need support for one night reimbursement, room card key didnt work and nobody was at reception to solve, so i slept out of the room in the floor. This ls really unacceptable and disappointed. Informed administration when doing check out and they told me it was not there responsibility 😡

Not pleased with price and state of hotel

The location of the hotel was quite good, however the overall hotel was appealing for the price as well. I paid €200 roughly for two nights in a family, four bed, room and it was very dirty. The carpet was old and stuck together, the beds were uncomfortable and the cheapest looking, a night stand was broken with an old deodorant left behind it. The room was quite big but the space was not used well. The bathroom was cut out of the room like a square and was an actual box. The bath tub, toilet and the whole bathroom was quite old and cheap looking, with the bathtub being very dirty and the sink faucet was broken. The whole hotel had a weird smell of ethnic food. The staff were nice but I don’t think the hotel was acceptable. The hotel description states there is free parking, however the hotel told me I had to pay. There was no instant coffee either because the hotel excluded breakfast so that could be improved. My stay was ok, but for the price they can renovate a bit and clean more.

Kamer leek schoon, maar was het niet. Veel stof bij het bed. Badkamer was vervallen, kapotte tegels, douchescherm verroest. Temperatuur van het water was nauwelijks in te stellen, het ging van koud naar zeer heet. Er was geen mogelijkheid voor ontbijt, terwijl dit wel bij de omschrijving staat. Hotel ziet er zeer vervallen uit. Rookmelders waren niet op de kamer aanwezig. Lift was gammel en had een nare geur. Het enige positieve is de ligging en uitzicht. Wifi-signaal was zeer zwak.

We ended up leaving after 2 hours beacause of apolling conditions of our room. The family room was way too hot (maybe 40 degrees in celcius) there were no fans and we were not able to even open the windows. It smelled quite moldy in there and the room and the whole hotel is in despair need of renovation. We tried to get a refund but i believe we lost the money

Vergane glorie, erg oud en vervallen hotel. Maar dat het niet goed wordt schoon gemaakt is nog veel erger. Twijfel of het bed schone lakens had gekregen, op een kussensloop zaten nog make up resten van de vorige gasten. Bovendien geen warm water, nu niet zo erg tijdens de hittegolf maar zo hoort het niet.

Ich hatte noch nie so ein schlechtes Hotel. Positiv war die Lage,aber das war es dann auch mit dem Positiven!! Hotel ist dreckig,Matratzen KOMPLETT durchgelegen,Badezimmer war ein Komplett-Plastik-Einbau,noch nie im Leben vorher gesehen,was sich dann im Nachhinein als nützlich erwiesen hat. Denn Abfluss lief nur schlecht ab,dafür lief aber die Spülung der Toilette 24/7!! Empfangen hat uns eine Taube im Eingangsbereich,die dann nächsten Tag verschwunden war,aber Ihre Hinterbliebenschaften konnten wir noch vier Tage sehen! Betreiber bietet wohl auch Sushi an,was wir selbstverständlich auf gar keinen Fall probiert haben!! Hoffe nur,die Taube hat den Ausweg gefunden??!! Wenn man nochmal nach Sint Niklaas möchte,dann bloß nicht mehr in de Spiegel!!!
