My parents and I have just returned from a New Years Eve trip to Antwerp. We had a brilliant stay at the MAEK Hotel which is close to Antwerp Central Station. The location is perfect, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the whole place has a relaxed, stylish vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. The breakfast was also 10/10. A special shout‑out to the receptionist, a young lad called Eecol, who genuinely made the stay even better. He was friendly, informative, and had a great sense of humour. He went out of his way to help with recommendations and local tips, all delivered with a bit of banter. My only complaint? He’s a Max Verstappen fan… but I suppose nobody’s perfect. All in all, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I always stay at Mercure. Great staff. Great breakfast. TV did not work but they offered to change rooms. Too much work to repack so went without it. The head waitress is a gem! We love her!
