"Well located to the city’s sights. Very friendly and helpful staff who assisted us with leaving luggage after checkout. The hotel buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast options and was good value for money especially as many local cafes don’t open until quite late"

"Most of the staff were great, but the waiter in the bar muttered that it was "muy temprano" when I asked for toast and coffee at 7.32am, having been told the café opened at 7.30, and wanting to get hiking at first light."

"Spotless clean, bar and food available as well as petrol station with shop. Place to exercise dogs and big car park. Close to main highway and staff all helpful and friendly. Excellent customer service approach with emails prior to visit asking if they can help you in any way and a welcome message in my room written on bathroom mirror. Real value for money experience and if I could give feedback on 2 things I would improve. Put a toilet brush in bathroom as we may need to attend to marks in the toilet before maid cleans room. It stops embarrassment and better for your staff. The bed mattress was not comfy for me as I have an aging skeleton and after a week of aching was glad to return to my own bed. I appreciate everyone has a preference about beds but it was adequate. Very impressed with the staff training and the whole experience so well done management for putting customers first, it was appreciated"

"Nice room in old building, a/c just about coped with 38c outside. Decent breakfast and reasonably priced dinner (onsite restaurant was not open when we stayed). Location is ok but it was a drive or bus to get into the city. The nice Salburua nature reserve can be accessed close by with good walking/birding and cycling. "

"Very helpful staff with a lovely clean lobby. The attendant at the desk s as poke multiple languages. She was very helpful in telling us about the city and good places to visit and eat. The rooms were spacious and the shower good. It was quiet. I would only all that the hotel allow customers to darken the LED light on the thermostat because it was so bright at night that we woke up from the glow. There is a mini fridge if that is something you need! Great breakfast! "
