"HORRIBLE PLACE! This place is run by a crazy woman who should go to a mental hospital. I do not recommend it to anyone! Communication with her 0 points. You feel like you are in a mental hospital and not on vacation. There was an incredible stench from the sewage in our villa every day. It could not be solved. Moldy bathtub and shower. "My wife and I have just returned from a one-week stay at TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao, and I can say without any doubt that it was the best resort holiday we've ever experienced. From the advance transfer planning from Krabi airport to the marina, then across to the resort by boat, to settling into our beachfront villa, to every experience we enjoyed over the course of the week, the TreeHouse Villas team handled every part of our stay with 5-star service and care. Throughout our week, we often reflected on the calmness of each day and how a single day felt like it was slowing down time. Welcomed by the beautiful setting of the resort on Koh Yao Noi Island, you very easily settle into a tropical, peaceful part of the world and call it home for your stay. The guest villas are beyond belief in design, comfort, and experience. Everything you could need and more is carefully designed into them, with so many added comforts that they are too many to list. The management team and staff are truly the secret sauce that brings the whole luxury resort experience together. They represent the true spirit of the resort, and you can enjoy your stay knowing such a kind, caring, and accommodating team is there to make it everything you expect, and more. A heartfelt thank you to Urs, Alex, Benoit, Farn, Pan, Nah, Joy, Zhen, and the entire TreeHouse Villas team. "We had a wonderful stay at Varana Hotel in Krabi. The hotel is beautifully designed, aesthetic, and meticulously maintained. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and always happy to help with a smile at any time. The facilities are top-notch: the fitness center is hands down one of the best you'll find in a hotel, and the spa and treatment area is of a very high standard. A couple of things to keep in mind: Spa amenities: The wet/dry sauna is only open for about three hours a day (split into single-hour slots) and comes with an extra fee, which was a bit disappointing. Location: The hotel is located about a 15-minute drive from central Ao Nang. This means you will likely find yourself commuting there once or twice a day if you're looking for attractions or taking boat trips to the islands (like Railay or Phi Phi), which are a must-do."

"I had a sea view room and the view was spectacular. The room was fantastic with a large balcony. Breakfast had a good selection. I ate a few times in the restaurant for lunch and dinner and the food was excellent. They also have a coffee shop with a selection of drinks and cakes. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The complimentary island tour was a good way to get a first introduction to the island. There is a motorcycle rental hut just by the hotel."
