"What started as a nightmare - despite my booking/confirmation the hotel was closed when i arrived - became a good experience, after the owner has called me and came back to the lodge to open it, just for me. "

The hotel and grounds are quaint, and we got to extensively relax at the bar and by the pool, which was nice after being in loud and busy HCMC. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations, and the sounds of construction filled the air from 730am to 730pm -> not so nice if you intend to take a nap in your room, or eat lunch in the restaurant by the water. "Nice hotel, right on Mekong River. Beautiful landscape. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing place. Quiet room, comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice swimming pool. No TV and safe box in room. Nothing around the hotel like restaurants, shopping, massage spas. Great place to relax if you have hectic traveling and busy life. "

"We have come to stay at this hotel many times over the years whenever we come to My Tho, it’s a GEM. Clean and very convenient location, well kept property, recently remodel. Very good and variety breakfast daily. An excellent place for dining too and plenty of options outside of the hotel. A five minutes walk to the market. I would recommend that they should install shower instead of bath to accommodate elderly and short people. However, everything else is perfect. Strongly recommend that you book the room with the river view for sunrise and sunset. It’s well worth the money."

"This is an historic sprawling building situated on the river front. The front desk reception was very friendly and enthusiastic. She gave us a room on the second floor with balcony overlooking the river. Room was basic but comfortable. Internet was fine. Shower was good. Facilities in the room were relatively new, perhaps a few years at most. Bed and linen were comfortable. There is a minibar and fridge in the room. Breakfast consisted of a menu. You can order one feed and one drink. I had acceptable bun bo hue. I asked for an orange juice and a coffee which surprised the waitress but was granted to me. Id stay here again if I visit My Tho in the future. "

"My Fiancé and I stayed here for two nights. The room was sweet and cozy, right on the delta. The host made us dinner which was good, mind you the food is pretty pricy. There are no restaurants or grocery stores on the island. The place is very hard to find and YOU MUST HAVE A MOTORBIKE or else it is impossible to reach/you will be stuck on location. I would classify this as more of a Homestay than a hotel/resort. Over all very immersive experience. "
