"Signore Dante was absolutely amazing, his customer service was priceless! Housekeeping was really helpful as well! The bathroom wasn't clean when I arrived and she did a deep clean and disinfected it. Very big room and delicious breakfast as well. "This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. "Very good location, Very good breakfast.. Clean Classic Double bedroom with good bedroom and bathroom facilities and linen but bathroom problem (see further). Helpful and hardworking staff, particularly very efficient and friendly breakfast ladies, chamber maids and Reception staff. However: my bathroom (Room 101) smelled badly of bad drains. I was told it happened when it rained - though there had been no rain. I was given a spray to help but the smell returned every day. Also there was a terrible smell on the 1st floor which apparently was ongoing. So, the hotel needs to deal with what seems like embedded problems on the 1st floor. I don’t know if other floors or bedrooms have the same problems. Also hotel is run down in several areas with stained and very worn carpets on the stairs and in my bedroom, and dingy/gloomy staircase whose walls need to be painted. The owners need to spend some money on the hotel and not just rely on good staff and occupancy"
