"The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

"This was literally the absolute worst hotel (really, it was more like a hostel) that I have stayed in either stateside or abroad. The property only allows you to communicate with them during two short periods daily around check-in and out. Their information indicates check in is not on the property. "Great place to stay, just off the village square, right next to the Mont Blanc Hotel, and two minutes walk from Le Chamois Télécabine. A quiet, calm and convenient location - especially for getting on the first lifts. Could do with refreshing the cutlery and crockery as a couple of items missing, but that is the worst it gets. The only word of warning, make sure you order the bedding and towels beforehand as they are not included in the base price. "

"A l’arrivé, pas de code d’entrée ni la clé. On a du appelé plusieurs fois pour obtenir cela. 1/2h plus tard, rentée dans l’appart, surprise, le lieu n’était pas nettoyé. Il y a tu des traces de chips, poussière gris au sol, sous le lit. J’ai immédiatement contacté, encore 1 fois, qu’il m’a dit que le lieu était nettoyé… Il ma dit qu’il nous envoie la femme de ménage lendemain mais jamais venue, on a jamais plus entendu! "On check in told I had to pay for room as it wasn’t paid for. Paid again and then when checked back on bookings I had fully paid prior to arrival. I spoke to the lady on reception who asked me to come back in the morning for a refund as she was busy with a problem. Went back in the morning and provided her with receipts of both payments and she said she would get her superior to do it the next day. I have emailed and messaged through hotels.com and had no response. Shocking service for an error on their part. "
