"The 3rd floor room was spacious so and well equipped but unfortunately the windows have not been washed in a while and were extremely dirty due to the birds in the roof."
"Beautiful property! A short walk from the downtown area.
Wished we had upgraded our room, it was small, but it had everything we needed. We loved the welcome drink and cookies.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area."
"A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, unfortunately the level of service was poor, we stayed 3 nights and our room was not serviced despite leaving the sign on the door, seemed to be a lack of management leadership, staff didn't seem to know what they were supposed to be doing, no urgency even when no food at breakfast."
"We had seen mixed reviews about other people's stays and were a bit apprehensive about what to expect. We could NOT have had a more fantastic stay. Staff were extremely attentive and welcoming especially Veejay( the manager), Gary, Anne and Nadine. We are a family of 6 ( 3 adult couples) and it was the perfect highland base for exploring the area. Food was fresh and was made from scratch. Leave time for leisurely meals. Specially props for breakfast pancakes. Rooms were spacious and beds extremely comfy with beautiful views. Lots of communal spaces to enjoy family time and hang out. Highly recommend !!"
"We had a fabulous overnight stay
A beautiful hotel fabulous food fabulous staff could find no faults at all
Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return"
"What a beautifully created small hotel with views to die for. The food, both dinner and breakfast could not be faulted. The staff really made sure we were well looked after. We will definitely be back.
One very small suggestion. Due to the very clean and modern lines of the bar and restaurant sound echoes can make it difficult to hear. As we have seen in other restaurants there is the easy solution of sound absorbing panels to mount to the walls/ceiling. These can even be printed with pictures to disguise their purpose and add local interest.
Otherwise don't change a thing. It is so near perfect."
"I checked in at a busy time but the staff explained what was happening so it was well handled and no problem. Bar food was great value. The staff seem to take great pride in the place. A very enjoyable stay."
