" One thing lead to much being not enjoyable. A weary reception staff person blase attitude. Room we specified had been smoked in - both recent and old stink in carpet. Substitute rm tiny w/ one window - not the mtn view. No consideration for reduction. Tomato/basil soup was canned juice w/ maybe lemon squeeze added. Grateful for tasty sauce on over-baked fish. Bright spot light shining in our window/had to get dressed to ask when it would be off? No hot water in AM when desk knew boiler out the night before. A warning note under the door would have saved that grief. Dog barking in next rm, but all because a not proactive employee."
"We had 2 rooms and both were beautiful and perfect for those travelling. Staff were super attentive and so friendly, nothing was a problem. Breakfast is fantastic. We tried every disj while there and couldnt fault any of them. Our fussy 2 year old was delighted and the staff were super friendly with him. Gary the night manager was fantartic had some great stories and advice for us. Sad we had to leave without saying goodbye but we will be back. We loved everything about it! "
"10 out of 10 for everything. Beautiful hotel, courteous staff, room was lovely with shot bedsheets, great gym with a Pelotón, nice location with view of beach"
"Unfortunately I had a puncture, the lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful. She had a pump which she kindly lent me . Hugely grateful!!
The hotel is getting a bit tired but the staff are so friendly , the food is first class . "
"Beautiful and clean hotel, we stayed for 5 nights. The staff ( Thomas, Ben, Mel and Ellie) were excellent, pleasant, friendly and welcoming! The staff make the hotel. Restaurant and bar on site, live entertainment on some nights. "
"Property and rooms are clean. Breakfast was good as well. It gets 4 star for two reasons, small bathroom sink, I mean small, 1x1 literally, shower is inside tub for which you have to climb over 1.5 feet in bath tub, bath tub is located on a platform. There is literally no space between bathrub and Toilet. Unless u r a toddler, it will be impossible to sit on it. Lastly, only warm water in shower"
"The room was very comfortable and clean with all the amenities you needed for your stay. We had a twin bed room and the beds were comfortable with extra blankets and pillows in the room. The bathroom was nice with a towel warmer and soft towels. My only complaint, but this is common throughout, no wash cloth...
The front desk staff were very friendly and professional, we checked in quickly and given our room key. All of the staff we met were very friendly. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of cold items as well hot menu items. I really appreciated the little pot of coffee you got at your table instead of having to go to the buffet to get more.
The bar was nice, it was not as "cozy" as others we stayed in during our trip."
