"Had a nice room with a partial view of the Pacific Ocean, and could see & hear the waves crashing on the rocky beach. Very relaxing and peaceful. Definitely will consider staying here again. "

"This place is a gem. We choose to stay in this town to break up the long drive from the redwoods to San Francisco. We spent some time at the Glass Beach and were going to be running late for check in so I called and the lady working the desk (I forgot her name but she's absolutely delightful) told me what to do, our room number, where to park, etc. She had all of the information (TV channels, how to with the air conditioner, restaurants with their availability and location) very detailed and easy to understand. The room we got actually had a kitchenette and a pull out bed in addition to our two double beds, which was unexpected but appreciated! Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is continental style, but does have cheese and hard boiled eggs in addition to a large assortment of granola bars, pastries, yogurt, juice, milk, and a coffee machine (so you can make yourself a late or mocha)! It was good. We also had a great view. We met a couple local seagulls that hang out there too (Gus Gus and Thumper). It really was a great experience! "
"This is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. You cannot beat this view and it's dog friendly. Our dog Louie absolutely loved it. We spent the whole day walking around the property, looking at the ocean and staring at the sky. The service and hospitality are really great. Can't wait to come back. Also, thank you for the upgrade!!!! Wow"
"We love the 2 big rooms connected as one big house. We love the woody property that is very close to downtown Mendocino. Very quiet and safe. The unit that we got needs a few upgrades. The carpet has to go. The other units have hardwood floors. The wifi is weaker at night, u cant watch anything. Same goes w the cellphone signal, cant make a phone call not surf the internet even if you used your own data. The staff were very friendly and front desk personnel were quick to response. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."
"Super adorable cottage surrounded by beautiful trees. Self check in was easy, room was spotless. Room and bath is a little on the small size but we didn’t mind it. I would love to stay here again. "
