"We had an amazing five days at Villa Isabella after a busy time in Firenze and Pisa. The location is superb, literally on the lakefront. Check in was easy and the underground parking a bonus - though as others have said - the spaces are VERY tight for anything above a mini or fiat 500. We had an Executive Room and breakfast Views of the lake were amazing and decent shower and balcony. Internet not great in that area of the hotel but it was better to stay in the real world and look at...

All the hotel staff were superb and make you feel like you're on holiday at all times. The superior double room was great with amazing views of the lake and mountains. "Das Gallo ist ein sehr schönes familiengeführtes, mittelgroßes Hotel in Tignale. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und immer sehr Hilfsbereit. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Dies ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sicher mit Verkehrslärm zu kämpfen haben. Motorräder drehen in der Kehre vor dem Hotel gern am Gasgriff. Das Hotel ist in einem sehr ordentlichen Zustand und verfügt über einen kleinen aber sehr schönen Pool. Es gibt auch einen Whirlpool...

"Absolutely marvellous and friendly staff, the single room was comfortable, clean and quiet, If starting to look a little dated. shower always had hot water and great pressure. The terrace was nice to sit and relax with a view of the garden through mine was shared with other guests. Easy beautiful 10 minutes walk along the lake into the village. Breakfast was perfect for me though others may like a few more options. Good value for what I paid. Would happily stay again."

"For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine."
