Traditional stay in Camargue

Amazing stay in Camargue. Accommodation in traditional style in beautiful quiet surroundings. Clean, cool ( air conditioning welcomed with Heatwave). Situated in nature, surrounded by horses- Great swimming pool and restaurant. We will go back- highly recommend for an ‘escape!

Beautiful location with drawbacks in service both at breakfast and evening. Orders were forgotten, wrong plates delivered. Waiting time was one evening a disaster. The staff was totally lost. When dinner costs >200€, staff should be properly trained and sufficient. Both were not given… the bathrooms in the cabins need an urgent renovation (minor ones but still). We had a problem with the room and it was fixed without hesitation with an upgrade. Overall a very nice location when you accept the drawbacks. O

Une tres belle halte.

La cabane De luxe que nous avions réservée est située loin de la route et parfaitement calme, au bord d’un petit canal, en pleine nature. Elle est très confortable, la literie également. Les chiens sont acceptés. Le petit déjeuner est bon, copieux et varié. Par beau temps cette halte est une pure merveille.

Très bon séjour

Notre séjour était vraiment agréable et apaisant. Le cadre est très atypique, le personnel très aimable. Y voir des chevaux tout proche est vraiment un plus. Les piscines sont grande, le restaurant est d’une très bonne qualité. On le recommande.

Mehr Schein als Sein - keine 4 Sterne wert

An und für sich eine schöne Anlage mit zwei Pools, einem (teuren) aber guten Restaurant, einem wunderbaren Frühstücksbuffet und Reitmöglichkeiten. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings ist die Anlage in die Jahre gekommen. Da und dort sollten Renovationen gemacht und nicht nur mit dem Pinsel nachgebessert werden. Die Zimmer sind ziemlich sauber. Wenn aber Gras auf der Zimmerterrasse wächst und Spinnweben an der Terrassendecke sind, ist es kein 4-Sterne Hotel. In unserem Zimmer war die Matratze wahrscheinlich sehr alt und "durchgelegten", weich und alles andere als erholungsfördernd. Mit einer noch weicheren Obermatratze wurde versucht, eine Verbesserung hinzukriegen, was aber leider zu ungunsten meines Rückens missraten ist. Zu denken hat mir auch die Haltung der Pferde gegeben. Sie standen in einem matschigen, nassen Dreckviereck, wurden nicht einmal vor einem Ausritt geputzt und mit minderwertigem Heu gefüttert. Ein trauriges Bild.

Site naturel magnifique et préservé. L’hôtel dispose de son écurie. Les maisons de gardians sont charmantes et leur chemin d’accès très agréable, bien que la route nationale soit très proche et assez bruyante. Néanmoins, l’hôtel n’est pas à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles. La réception et l’accueil peu chaleureux, aucun service digne d’un 4 étoiles, bar de l’hôtel désert, sans fond musical. Cocktail préparé sans connaissance et sans aucun biscuit apéritif. La propreté des chambres est moyenne ( beaucoup de tartre sur le robinet de la salle de bains). Pas de téléphone pour joindre la réception. Petit avant goût de cette déception avant l’arrivée, avec un problème de réservation lié à Expedia. La responsable de l’accueil nous ayant pris de haut sans aucune sympathie ni empathie face a un problème que nous avons dû régler seul après de nombreux appels téléphoniques et mail. Nous avons finalement pu avoir un « accord de réservation «  alors que la chambre était payée depuis 24h avec preuve et reçu. Nous avons été traité d’une façon inacceptable. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
