Very friendly and helpful front staff. Restaurant staff very accommodating- we arrived late for the breakfast buffet and they made us a very nice and complete meal. Restaurant and front entry and desk were excellent- very comfortable and welcoming Pool was very nice but a little bit cold- or a hot tub in the corner for those of us who like to soak for a while

In contrast to the general quietness the rooms were rather loud: one could clearly hear the neighbours speak. Also the window facing the parking lot didn't really shut out the noise that was often coming from there. Before our trip I sent an email asking about vegan options at the breakfast buffet. I did not get an answer to that. The staff at the breakfast room, though, was very helpful. At the other hand it must be said that apart from oat- and soymilk there wasn't really anything vegan that could have made us experience a luxurious breakfast for that price..

The only way to cool the room is to open the window and the fans in the room.

Great hotel, super comfy beds, cleaned every day. Just felt a little pushed out due to being English whilst trying to get a drink at the bar, the locals like to push in and you get ignored. Apart from that, would definitely recommend and will go again. Thank you.

The positives: - The room was quiet and large - Bed was comfortable - The carpark was large The negatives: - No air conditioning and no fans. First room was like an oven. Reception did swap us and we eventually managed to cool the second room down a little. - The bathroom set up was bizarre. The sink was in the shower cubicle, which meant you needed wellies to use the sink after a shower as it took many hours for the floor to dry. Very difficult to use. - There was a kettle but only tiny paper cups - Bar staff were dreadful. My husband stood at the bar for some 15 minutes being totally ignored whilst others who rocked up after him were getting served. They were also more focussed on serving the restaurant and would prioritise anything that came from there over people just waiting at the bar for drinks. - There are a number of EV chargers but these do not all seem to work consistently. They would start to charge and then stop 5 minutes later. We did manage to charge eventually but it was a bit of a worry. General comments: The location is very rural. It's a 25 minute walk to a small parade of shops with a Chinese and an Italian restaurant. Anything else is a drive away. Both these restaurants are mediocre at best. You're better off driving in to Oosterbeek for dinner. The hotel restaurant seemed popular (probably because of the remoteness) but we didn't try it as we were put off after our experience in the bar.
