Just 8 minutes by RER train from Gare du Nord. 3 minutes by train to Galeries Lafayette or half hour walk. The area is vibrant - lots of restaurants/bars. Shopping centre good. So close to the Louvre and easy to walk to Notre Dame, Bourse du Commerce museum etc. Recommend walking to Place des Vosges. There’s a lovely route there with shops...

It was more budget friendly so you can use your savings on lodging to Uber around in Paris. One thing I can say is that the breakfast is not worth the money. If you can walk a little, there's this excellent bakery called 'Boulangerie Honorin'. A lot better for breakfast."
