"The hotel is across a golf course and in front of the bay. We had a nice room overlooking the bay. The rooms are definitely dated and need remodeling but it was clean. The pillows were terrible and should be replaced, so bring your own if you are traveling by car from home (I did thankfully). My son had a very stiff neck and uncomfortable sleep because of them. The screen on the second floor didn't lock so we didn't keep it open at night to enjoy the cool air but the a/c worked fine. Breakfast was OK, nothing hot/cooked like eggs (just hard boiled) but all the standards for a breakfast were there that could be toasted and do-it-yourself waffles, like pretty much anywhere. You really have to drive for a restaurant but be aware of your surroundings because Oakland is pretty close. The area around the hotel is good and you could walk around to enjoy the bay, but there really isn't much walking distance.
Parking was $18."
