Great Location

Had a good experience at the hotel. Very good location renting to the pedestrian street in front of the lake. Lobby is small and uninviting but the room was spacious and clean. Great view of the lake.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We only stayed one night and had no complaints except that the bell tower was ringing once every hour through the night. Seems like this is not normal and due to some renovations happening. Overall, the hotel is very close to the waterfront, many restaurants and the views are beautiful.

A weekend in the middle of lively Ascona

Amazing location directly on the Lake Promenade of Ascona with a lot of live music, restaurants, shops, always worth a visit Ascona. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and spacious, great terrace with an eating corner and sun beds, full of plants. The hotel service is extremely friendly and efficient, great breakfast. The only reason why we have not give an excellent ratings was over bed, very old and uncomfortable

The room was large with a beautiful biew over Lake Maggiore. Plenty of eateries around (expensive) COOP 8 min walk away near the bus stop. Ferry stop nearby. The room was hot even with the window open and fan on at night but with temp at 30C+ not unbearable.

Wir waren mit dem Hotel Elvezia in Ascona zufrieden. Das Hotel hatte ein Problem mit einer Pumpe im Keller, das führte zu einer Geruchsbelästigung. - Das Personal tat alles, um den schlimmen Geruch zu neutralisieren. Eine Reparatur während der Feiertage war leider nicht möglich. Das war also höhere Gewalt, aber störend. -

Meine zweite Buchung aufgrund guter Erfahrungen: sauberes Zimmer mit schönem Seeblick vom kleinen Balkon und guter Ausstattung (Laptop-Safe, Kaffeemaschine, TV usw.); sehr freundliches Personal, guter Kaffee zum Frühstück und leckeres Bircher- Müsli; es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, vielen Dank, bis zum nächsten Jahr!

Das Hotel Elvezia Ascona ist ein kleines, aber sehr feines Hotel. Das Personal war superfreundlich und sehr bemüht, dem Gast einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig-modern ausgestattet, mit Laptop-Safe, kleinem Kühlschrank und einer sehr hochwertigen Nespresso-Maschine für leckeren Kaffee und Tee. Aber das Allerbeste war der kleine Balkon (mit kleinem Tisch und zwei Stühlen), von dem man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore und die Seepromenade hatte! Dazu passend das Frühstück: Von allem eine kleine, aber feine Auswahl am Buffet - der Frühstücks"raum" (das Restaurant) ebenfalls mit Seeblick. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen: Kulinarisch alles tiptop und superlecker! Vielen herzlichen Dank, ich komme gerne wieder! Volle Punktzahl und absolut empfehlenswert!

Direkt am See. Seesicht. Gutes Restaurant im Haus. Feines Frühstücksbuffet. Zuvorkommendes, nettes Personal. Air Condition im Zimmer. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber und neuwertig. Espressomaschine im Zimmer. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man am Lungolago wohnt und nachts viel los ist. Die wunderbare Lage hat so viele Vorteile, dass uns das nicht gestört hat. Zudem kann man ja mit der Klimanlage die Fenster geschlossen halten. Perfekter Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Room with a view

Meget velbeliggende lige ned til søen og promenaden. Fint værelse og godt badeværelse. Nogen støj fra promenaden, når der opsættes marked etc., men det er jo også en del af charmen. Parkering sker oppe på pladsen ved Coop. Man kan få kode til at køre ind i fodgængerområdet med bagagen.

Der grösste Vorteil ist zugleich der grösste Nachteil: direkt am See gelegen, könnte die Aussicht nicht besser sein. Restaurants und Schiffquai sind in nächster Nähe. Dass heisst aber auch: wirklich ruhig wird es erst am späten Abend, den in der Nähe befindet sich auch eine - durchaus schöne - Open-Air-Bar mit Musik. Wir haben den Aufenthalt trotzdem genossen. Das Zimmer war schön, die Terrasse riesig und das Personal sehr freundlich.
