"The rooms were very clean and stylishly decorated. It reminded me of a luxury hotel from the 1980s. With one exception, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was quite good and plentiful. I wouldnโ€™t have dinner there again. It was good, but way too expensiveโ€”as if it were Michelin-starred cuisine. All in all, the atmosphere at dinner was far too stuffy for my liking. Ascona and the surrounding area have many fantastic restaurants, and theyโ€™re all worth visiting. Overall, we found the hospitality to be excellent, and weโ€™ll definitely stay at this hotel again on our next visit."
