The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The location was close to everything, local restaurants but also 5-8 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Not bad! Room is nice and clean, breakfast is decent, amenities are good, staff is courteous and attentive… but… apparently this hotel was built recently, most likely with “new cost effective materials and methods”. It’s built on the side of very busy road, and if you get the room facing the road you would feel like you live on the side of the road. Sound insulation is practically nonexistent there. Not exterior, nor the interior (between the rooms, demising walls room to corridors etc). That being said, after first night being there I made requests to be moved to the rear side facing room, that stuff was happy accommodate, which it made huge difference. So just a quick heads up: if you are somewhat like me and sensitive to the noise, request the room facing back of the hotel. Otherwise, pretty decent place and worth the stay.

Check-in and out were easy. The room was very clean and fresh. The room was a little noisy from activity out in the hall during the first part of the evening, but fortunately, things quieted down around 11:30 PM and did not prevent sleeping. The breakfast was good and a nice touch. We do not choose hotels for breakfast, but we will take advantage of the offering if the food is appealing. I would book again.
