"Property was very nice, especially for the price. The room was very clean and well keep. Beds were comfortable and the furnishings were very nice.Breakfast was wonderful nice choices, and good food, Ty the breakfast host was great. Met Nicole, the general manager. She seemed very interested in how my stay was going and that everything was appropriate and proper. Amber and Bryant at the front desk were wonderful. I like the lobby coffee and evening cookies. Hotel is pet friendly with several guests having their pups with them.Indoor pool was very nice and stayed open late. Parkingwas fine without a problem finding an open space. Only complaint was their Internet kept going outa lot. Was able to get a good 5G signal and you cell data insead."

"Our room was super clean and the air conditioning was ice cold. We kept it cool from where we had worked outside all day. The continental breakfast in the morning was great area was clean and maintained well. Food and other breakfast items were kept stocked up very well nice lady working in the area talking to customers. I’ll be staying there again."

"The hotel room was very nice but there was no coffee pots which I prefer versus going down to get a cup of coffee in the morning. We got a late start for breakfast and went down at 9:50, all of the hot food was already empty and they did not refill it even though there were several people down there waiting. I realize they were closing at 10:00 but every hotel I've been to typically still has to refill the food if it's still within breakfast hours. We were there for the dog track which was disappointing. We prefer to watch outside but you had to go down several flights of stairs to get out there only to come find out the bar is completely closed because they're renovating it so you could not even get a glass of water unless you went back up the four flights of stairs. So we end up sitting inside to be closer to any type of beverage. Also, there are no betting machines on the inside bottom level where we prefer to watch the dogs. You again had to walk up several flights upstairs to go place a bet. The most disappointing thing was there was no announcer whatsoever for the race. Because of that, we missed the first race because we didn't realize it was going on. Having the announcer not only notifies you of the next race and results but also adds to the excitement. It was an easier drive for us and was nice but Wheeling Island definitely has a better setup for placing bets and the experience. The casino was on and the band was amazing!"
