Everything was great except the owner never acknowledged during our stay that we had called 50 minutes before 3 PM to inquire about checking in a little early (we followed the instructions left at the front door).

My daughter and I stayed here one night. Very clean and beautiful room, we stayed in Desdomena. Breakfast was wonderful and very tasty. Very sweet and knowledgeable innkeeper. Would definitely stay here again.

A Mid Summer’s B&B truly was a dream. Innkeeper Lisa was thoughtful, kind, and very accommodating. The family deer that seemed to live on property were a beautiful addition to such a charming home. Wonderful meals and very quiet - excellent bed and linens in Desdemona room. Highly recommend!

I loved this little slice of heaven in Ashland! Lisa was such a gracious host, the room we stayed in was extremely clean and well furnished. The bed was like a cloud! The giant jet streamed bathtub was a wonderful bonus. The room was spacious and very quiet. Breakfast was quite delicious. Lisa makes sure her guests are taken care of to the fullest! I would love to stay here again on any future trips to this charming town.

Best Bed and Breakfast in the area

I immediately felt Id made the perfect choice when I entered. The atmosphere is quite lovely and comfortable. Lisa is a very accommodating innkeeper and makes sure her guests are taken care of in every way, including having incredible cookies ready every afternoon. Each room has charming touches and are restful. The view from Juliets balcony was just incredible, especially viewing the rising sun. I looked forward to returning to my room throughout the day. I will definitely be returning.

For us, staying in a lovely place is part of the fun. A Midsummers Dream in Ashland is magical: We stayed in the Romeo Room with a large jacuzzi and lovely furnishings. Lisa, the hostess, is a fountain of information and does a wonderful job answering all your questions. It was nice each morning at breakfast to compare plays wed seen with .other guests.

An unexpected delight to discover this B&B; we're already planning return visits. Everything about it is of the highest standard of excellence...from the exquisite decor to the delicious breakfast (perfectly cooked bacon with a light egg concoction). We'll be back!

My husband and I spent our 28th anniversary in Ashland and tremendously enjoyed our stay at A Midsummer's Dream Bed and Breakfast. It is ideally located near the center of town. The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and extremely clean. Lisa made a delicious breakfast every morning to start the day. I would recommend this lovely B&B to all my friends and family. My husband and intend to go back in the near future!

Lisa is meticulous about her B&B. It is one of the best I have been to. Very well maintained, decorated, and comfortable. I would stay here again in a minute. The property is like traveling back in time to a more relaxing place, but with modern conveniences. It is also an easy walk to the main part of town with all the wonderful shops and restaurants.

My wife and I stayed here for the first stop on our honeymoon and loved every second of our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lisa makes a delicious breakfast and has the best coffee! Our entire stay in this B&B was the icing on the cake for a great weekend.

We've stayed here about 10 times over the last decade. Always beautiful & peaceful in a quiet neighborhood. The host, Lisa, is charming, a great cook, and full of helpful local info. The breakfasts are delicious! You can't go wrong with a stay at A Midsummer's Dream.

The home is post car beautiful, just what you would like to find ! The rooms are very nicely appointed and wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and 2nds were always available. The walk to the theaters was actually quite quick and not strenuous at all...no car needed. Lisa, our hostess and the proprietress is so nice and welcoming, and friendly. We will definitely be coming back. We highly recommend A Midsummer's Dream Bed & Breakfast.
