"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. "Our stay was very good our room was very clean although the bathroom was a bit tight on space. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good with a wide variety to chose from, all in all we enjoyed our. Mike & Moira"

"Checked okay parking was close, the lift was out of order so walked to room not really a problem, but staff member sent me me on a 10min walk around the hotel with their instructions on how to get to the room, I later discovered a much quicker way using an alternative staircase, room was clean and well maintained. WiFi not the best but definitely useable. I cannot comment on food as I didn't eat in the hotel but there are some nice restaurants nearby."

"Stayed for one night en route to a North Devon holiday. The room was excellent, spacious, clean and well laid out. A very comfy bed meant a good night's sleep. Bathroom even had a bath. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a very good meal. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice all freshly cooked. Plenty of easy parking and outdoor space. Definitely worth staying and would do so again."
