"The place was just as described, clean, practical, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach, which was just a short walk away. The location couldn’t have been better. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient beach getaway!"
"Excellent 3 night stay at the Park Hotel Asinara. We had a very comfortable Superior room, with a partial sea view and plenty of storage space. The breakfast was the best during our stay on Sardinia, fresh fruit, homemade savoury flans, eggs, preserves, etc. Pretty seating area. The shuttle to and from La Pelosa beach was a very useful option. It took about 15 minutes to walk the other way into Stintino for restaurants in the evening, (longer coming back as that was uphill!)
The staff at reception were so helpful too, nothing was too much trouble. Well done Park Hotel Asinara. "
"Our stay at Club Esse Sporting was disappointing. We got back both nights after 9PM, so there was no point complaining, but we found dirty sheets on arrival. Thankfully, the cleaning ladies noticed and changed them the next day.
There were plumbing issues. The toilet didn’t flush, there was a bad smell, and all the water went into the shower.
Breakfast was confusing. Nobody told us you can’t just sit anywhere, so we got yelled at in front of everyone for choosing the wrong table. Four coffee machines, none working properly, and the worst coffee I’ve had in Italy.
You even have to carry a TV remote from reception. Do people really steal those?
Not worth it, I do not recommend! "
"We found the setting way up on the hills to be spectacular. The design of the B&B is extremely well thought out with great facilities, particularly the beauty of the pool area and the panoramic viewing deck. The owner, Federico speaks many languages and was very welcoming and keen to share information to help us explore this stunning area. Breakfast was very good. The room had a four poster bed which was the most comfortable we had ever stayed in, a little kitchenette with stove and fridge leading through to a patio area equipped with table and chairs to enjoy the views and watch the sunset over the ocean. Top marks for this accommodation - we would not hesitate to recommend for anyone that likes rural isolation & peace and quiet. It is worth noting that the property is accessed by a 2km dirt road."
"While the property is in a great location right at the centre of Stintino, it requires major improvements. It is listed as bed and breakfast, but it does not offer breakfast, neither does it offer a place where you can make yourself a tea or coffee, in or outside the room. You have to go the bar next door which charged different prices for the same items in different days. The room was clean, despite the smell of pipes and chemicals. It was probably cleaned with bleach, which was fine for us, but left a strong smell throughout the stay. We could not leave the window widely open to protect our privacy as it was facing the street and the room was small so air could not circulate much. The decoration of the room was basic and clearly repurposed, and lacked appropriate maintenance: old hangers, small old wall mirror, towels. There were rusty bits in many of the items, and the towels were stained and got smelly after the first use. Sound insulation internal to the property is not appropriate. We could hear everything from the corridor and nearby rooms: toilets flushing, showers, conversations etc, meaning that we felt our privacy was also affected. Overall our stay was far from being pleasant and relaxing and although we appreciated the good location, we did not feel it was good value for money. "
