Great Views!

We got the top floor room with a balcony. It was like we were on the top of the town overlooking the plains below. It was so beautiful! Our room was clean and tidy and the view was amazing!

Good location

It was a bit of a challenge to find. It was fine for a one night stay. There was a good restaurant for dinner next door. The breakfast was not very good - a lot of packaged foods, no fruit, no cold cuts/cheese/boiled eggs.

Very well located little cosy hotel

I've had a very nice stay of 3 nights in this hotel. The room, though small and basic, was very clean and comfortable and I felt at home. Also the fact that it only has 8 rooms, gave a feeling of warmth. The owners was very helpful and attentive to my needs and requirements. The location is perfect. Right on the Main Street but it wasn't noisy. Great value for money. I'd love to return.

Soggiorno ad Assisi

avevo prenotato due camere per il soggiorno in hotel.nella ricerca della prenotazione avevo citato sia il prezzo indicativo che il numero di stelle. prenotando sul vostro sito lo scudo, a 100 euro per stanza (la tariffa massima indicata dietro la porta della stanza indicava 75 euro),sono stata tratta in inganno dalle 4 stelle che apparivano accanto al nome e che sono risultate essere invece l'indice di gradimento. visionato le stanze dell'hotel ,molto spartane con moquette ,con un lucernario al posto della finestra e con assenza di finestra anche in bagno. Inoltre Assenza di balcone e asciugacapelli come indicato nella prenotazione ,Ho riferito i miei dubbi Alla gentile proprietaria che mi ha informato che avevo prenotato un hotel ad 1 stella ,cosa che non avrei preso in considerazione al momento della ricerca dell'hotel. Per il resto ribadisco la gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietaria ,la buona colazione.

Camera piccola e moquette che dovrebbe essere illegale in ogni struttura, bagno e arredamento datati, doccia filopavimento con tendina. Camera comunque molto silenziosa.

Cute hotel in great location

Stayed for 2 nights at Lo Scudo in Assisi. Cute hotel very close to Basilica of St. Francis, good location to a lot of shops and restaurants as well. Room was small but bed was comfortable and tv worked fine. Breakfast was good, homemade croissants you could smell when waking up! Yumm!! Owners were very nice & did their best to communicate with us English speaking Americans.

Ottimo soggiorno

E' stato molto piacevole soggiornare in questo hotel a conduzione familiare. La posizione è ottimale, al centro di Assisi, sulla via principale a poche centinaia di metri dalla Basilica e dalla piazza centrale, comodissimo per visitare la città e vicino a tutti i punti di maggior interesse. In pochi passi si arriva alla magnifica basilica e con altrettanti nel cuore di Assisi. Vicinissimo anche al piazzale da cui partono gli autobus per la stazione. La camera sufficientemente spaziosa, una doppia pur essendo da solo, con bagno con tutto il necessario. Ottima pulizia sia in camera che nelle zone comuni. Colazione in ambiente piacevole e sufficiente per iniziare la giornata, classica colazione italiana. La conduzione è familiare e piacevole e i proprietari sono persone gentilissime e cordiali, disponibili a dare info e per fare due chiacchere sulla città. Mi sono trovato bene, il rapporto prezzo / qualità direi molto buono, semplice e tranquillo. Lo consiglio per essere comodi per visitare Assisi. Se torno ad Assisi, e lo spero, sicuramente tornerei in questo hotel.

와이파이만 되면 완벽..

직원분들 영어 아예 못하시지만 아주 친절하고, 조식도 맛있습니다. 근데 캐리어 무거우신 분들 각오 단단히 하고 가세요.. 아주 죽어났네요. 그리고 제 방은 1층였는데 핸드폰 신호가 아예 안잡힙니다. 안그래도 와이파이도 안되는데 폰까지 안되서 답답했어요. 이거 말고는 객실도 깨끗하고 괜찮은 편입니다.

성프란체스코 성당에서 아주 가까운 괜찮은 숙소

위치를 찾는 것이 쉽지 않았으나, 주인이 매우 친절하고 객실도 아담하게 구성되어 있었다. 천정에는 유리가 있어서 밤하늘에서 별을 볼 수도 있었다. 그리고, 무엇보다도 아침 식사로 직접 구워주는 크로와상은 정말로 괜찮았다. 다만, 주차장이 없어서 주차가 쉽지 않은 아쉬움이 남았다.

Hotel located in the centre of Asisi. Facility and service was good. It was not easy to park my car near the hotel. But I think it eould be same for all hotels in Asisi because Asisi is a hill town. All roads are narrow.

Ein typisch italienisches Hotel

Es war ein sehr schönes Hotel, das aussah wie ein italienisches Haus. Das Frühstück befand sich in einem süßen Wohnzimmer, das sehr gemütlich war. Außerdem war die Frau richtig nett und machte unseren Aufenthalt schön.

Grazioso albergo proprio in centro

Conviene parcheggiare l'auto prima di arrivare all'albergo perchè arrivare fino all'hotel con la macchina può essere un problema visto che è in centro e le strade affollate, dieci minuti a piedi trovi i parcheggi ed è molto piacevole passeggiare per i vicoli anche con una piccola valigia.

"Home-like" hotel in Assisi...

Lo Scudo is a very short walk to The Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi. The hotel itself is rather "home-like"...almost like you are staying in someone's guesthouse...it is a small hotel, very quiet...there is no elevator, so one has to walk up a small (width) spiral stairway, which, if you have heavy luggage can be cumbersome. The two ladies who are at reception are friendly and helpful, even though they speak no English...good for the price.

Happy in Assisi

Wonderful location in Assisi; close to everything. Owner very helpful and nice. Our group of 4 very comfortable in a quad room. Would definitely stay here again!
