"This motel was in a decent area. It did not look like the pictures at all. There was probably one room that was remodeled but the other rooms did not look like the picture. It was a basic motel room. There was barely a “parking lot”. It was basically a slab of concrete. Front desk lady was super nice, but the front desk closes by 9pm sharp. If you are a late traveler, I do not recommend. There is no elevator as well, but this was not a huge deal to me personally. The shower was not good either. Would not stay again :("
"Hotel was updated clean and new staff was very nice and suggested things to do in Beaver Dam area
My only problem was that the pool area was so strong of chlorine smell that I couldn’t participate in swimming with my grandson because it affected my breathing , with that being said I feel that an exhaust system should be installed to make the pool area safer ! We come to beaver dam to visit our grandson and I might have to rethink staying at Comfort inn because I enjoy swimming with my grandson and because of this issue I can’t . Disappointed because I really liked the hotel . Sincerely, Tamara "
"Did not get the room I booked. Barking dogs all night in another room. Slipped on the uncovered, unsalted parking lot after it snowed and cut my knee up. Was then charged $20 for getting blood on their towels. Front desk not friendly."
"The property overall was fairly good, needed some cosmetic work, molding coming off on the furniture in the bedroom. Other than that, the room was very nice. However, we stayed there because of the pool and hot tub and both were in inadequate shape. My adult children and their children tried to swim, but it was somewhat slimy and you could clearly see mold on both the hot tub and the pool. I did talk to the person behind the desk and they said they were having a part come in to fix the situation. Hopefully that is accurate.
I’m a positive note. The breakfast was wonderful and overall had a good stay."
"Looks like hotel is under a new management. We have stayed in this hotel for the last 10 years for my kids tournament.
This time: no hot water, only one towel for a 2 bedroom suite. Breakfast was horrible, very low selection, cream cheese was frozen, no fresh fruit, only one waffle maker.
There was no enough stuff, same guy from reception was working the cafeteria "
