"Room v clean, shame food service finished early but it was Sun-Bank hol so not too much of a surprise. Breakfast good. En-suite could do with a towel rail- used bother sides of door knob in end!"

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."

"Sadly the hotel is room only these days room was in good condition and clean a bit old fashion other than that couldnโt fault it . Bathroom was great and nice and clean. Sad there is no bar or restaurant in operation how ever plenty of places to eat with in 10m away.Being a Shrewsbury lad went to plenty of functions and weddings here sad itโs not in full operation . Plenty of parking on site and staff very helpful ."

"Would have been a 5 star review but I asked the first night if staff could kindly remind other residents to move away from the front steps of the building whilst smoking kate at night as it comes into the bedroom window. Second night I had to ask 3 different gentlemen to please move away as their smoke was keeping me awake and affecting my asthma. Two were very apologetic and moved but the 3rd I got abuse from and it was not nice๐."

"Lovely room. Comfy bed. Toiletries were great. Hairdryer was good & not attached to the wall like some hotels. Shower was a little low pressure but thatโs minor. Lovely breakfast. Staff are so friendly. We arrived back at our room after a day out to find a card which was handwritten by the lovely hotel manageress & a box of chocolates for my birthday. Very kind indeed. Great location. Car park was a little tricky to find but we got there in the end ! Will definitely stay here again . Nice hotel ."
