"If you are coming to Asuncion, strongly consider staying at the Arthaus Boutique. It's about 5-10 minutes outside of "downtown" Asuncion, but as you'll find, there really isn't much in "downtown" Asuncion. Instead the area around Arthaus is a more upscale area with private homes, and walking distance to two major shopping areas, restaurants, and higher end spots. "This hotel is in a quiet safe part of town with a few restaurants nearby (which is a lot for Paraguay!). The owners are very friendly and the wifi was excellent. Great breakfast view on the rooftop. Enjoy your stay!"

"I communicated my arrival time on the Hotel web messaging service after the hotel wrote to me on it. When I arrived, the hotel was locked up solid, no light, no one answering door or phone. My cab driver took me to a different hotel. If Beulah Hotel charged my credit card, I will dispute it."
