Absolutely beautiful and spacious while also having acres of property to walk through. Also have horses on property to admire (not ride.) Amazing hosts, too.

It’s a lovely property and Colonel Mark is a wonderful host. We had a very busy itinerary so we weren’t able to enjoy the property as much as I would like, but we will be back.

Colonel Mark made this trip very memorable. He was a warm and welcominging host, the home was so beautiful and inviting. He made us feel like family. I have recommended this B & B to many people since we left. It's worth the money for such personal service. We will definitely go back.

The property is located in a beautiful, rural setting. Colonel Mark is a gracious inn keeoer and cooks a mean pancake.

We loved everything about this B and B and Inn. The owner, Colonel Marc, is welcoming, professional, and makes the best dang breakfast this side of the Mississippi. The house and grounds are breathtaking. I relaxed more than I have in a while. It is amazing that this retreat is so close to Athens. We enjoyed all Athens has to offer, and then returned to rest and rejuvenate in The Colonel's little piece of paradise.

The Colonels is so relaxing and hospitable. Colonel Mark is such a great host, great attention to detail and brings an instant familiarity to your stay. The historical aspect of the house and grounds provides great tranquility to the whole experience.

Peaceful Retreat
Colonel Marc made every effort to make our stay pleasant & relaxing. As he said, "I want everything to be perfect". The elegance of this historic home, pampered service, comfortable bed, beautiful pasture surrounding home, tasty breakfast, etc, made our stay wonderful! This lovely B & B was very special from the gracious owner to the beautifully appointed furnishings . The house is tastefully decorated with quality antiques and the grounds are peaceful with horses grazing nearby. Our breakfast was delicious as well. Colonel Marc is extremely knowledgeable about the area and suggested fun and worthwhile things to do . It was a treat to spend a few nights there. We highly recommend The Colonels B & B!

Loved Everything!
Col.Marc and Col. Beth were wonderful hosts. My wife and I loved everything. Peaceful and beautiful, inside and out. Horses, barn cat in the stable. Pastures, fencing. Close to Athens and UGA. Expensive, but the other guests were of the highest quality people. Want to return some day.
