The rooms were clean and the hotel is on the boardwalk, so that's nice. You can walk everywhere. We used Uber for the airport transportation. People were friendly at the hotel. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

I didn’t like that I was unable to cancel one night of my stay, even though I was still within the period I could make modifications to it. The Dennis tower must be one of the old ones because it was not in good condition. I had absolutely no view. The windows were all frosted. The staff around the hotel was friendly. The food accommodations outside of the venue where our event was held was very convenient.

As first-time guests at Bally's, we didn't realize the major difference in aesthetics between the Bally's Tower and the Dennis Tower. We stayed on the fifth floor of the Dennis Tower, and the room was disappointing. It was outdated, dusty, had visible cobwebs above the sink light fixtures, and featured heavily worn furniture. Additionally, there were no power outlets near the bed to charge our devices. On a positive note, the hotel's common areas were clean and smelled great. Unfortunately, the service did not match. Restaurant and hotel staff often seemed bothered when we asked questions. Breakfast at the café was particularly frustrating; we waited 20 minutes just for coffee in an unbusy room and spent another 15 minutes at the register trying to pay while the hostess ignored us. Because of the poor service and room quality, we likely won't stay here again.

The hotel’s interior design still looks elegant, classic, and well-maintained. The room temperature was perfect throughout my stay, making it very comfortable. That said, for the price I paid on a Saturday night—even accounting for weekend rates—I didn’t feel the overall experience offered good value. The room lacked several basic amenities that many guests might expect, such as cotton swabs, toothpaste, slippers, and even complimentary bottled water. While the bed itself was clean and comfortable, the fabric covering around the bed frame was not neatly tucked in, which detracted from the room’s appearance. Overall, the room showed signs of wear and could benefit from better upkeep. Dust was noticeable in some corners, suggesting that housekeeping attention to detail could be improved. Another inconvenience was the location of the charging ports, which were positioned far from the bed and not particularly guest-friendly. One standout feature, however, was the elevator service. Despite staying on the 39th floor, the elevators were impressively fast and efficient. Overall, Bally’s offers a beautiful classic atmosphere and comfortable climate control, but the room maintenance, amenities, and overall value for the price leave room for improvement.

Overall our stay was good. Parking was easy and affordable. I felt like the casino could use an upgrade as far as the carpets and overall look. Was dated and dingy. Our room was partially updated. When we opened the mini fridge to put our things in, housekeeping forgot to clean out the previous guests items which was pretty gross. The bathroom is stuck in the late 80s/90s complete with a phone on the wall. It too was dingy and needed a deep cleaning. It was cleaned for use but needed a good deep cleaning of the walls and floors. The bed pillows were terrible and the linens were thin and didn’t keep you warm through the night. Kind of expected a little more since they updated the main part of the room. The staff was very friendly.

I had very specific prerequisites when choosing accommodations for our weekend away. My husband was attending an event at the convention center. Because he would be out all day, I wanted a hotel near the boardwalk that also had a pool in case it rained. I wanted something for my 10 year old special needs daughter to do. Upon arrival I just happened to notice a sign that said the pool was only for 21+. Thankfully we had nice weather. Most of the staff was quite nice and expressed their annoyance with the policy. I was also told that most times the pool is empty. This might seem like a trivial complaint, but when you have a child who talked about the pool the full four hours it took to get there, this was more than an inconvenience. I highly suggest you update your description on Expedia. Our room was comfortable enough. Nothing spectacular, but no real complaints. We stayed in the Bally’s Tower, it was fine other than the hint of cigarette smoke in our nonsmoking room. My last comments are with regard to the room that my parents stayed in. They were only able to get a room in the Dennis Tower. Bally’s should be ashamed to have their name associated with those rooms. Thankfully my parents are physically fit. The shower is a death trap waiting to happen. I don’t think that we will ever have the desire to return.
