"We enjoyed a two night stay at this hotel. From the outside it looks very impressive and the reception and dining areas are very nice. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal and two hearty breakfasts and the staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and clean but the hallways are looking rather sad for themselves with frayed carpets and damaged ceilings, we were in room 300 and the carpet looked as if it needed a good clean or replacement.
