"I called and used your app to communicate about my booking. The management company you had on file said they no longer manage. I had to make other arrangements to stay for the 3 days. They did reach out the day I was supposed to check in at 11 PM, mind you, saying they would honor my reservation. Hell, I had to book a stay somewhere else. "Our stay at Spillway Lodge in Bellaire, Michigan was truly outstanding from start to finish. The rental was spotless, beautifully designed, and clearly maintained with great care. Every detail felt thoughtful—from the comfortable furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen and cozy outdoor space. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful setting while still being close to downtown, Torch Lake, and all the charm the area has to offer. What really made the experience special was how effortless everything felt. Check-in was smooth, communication with the host was excellent, and the space felt welcoming the moment we arrived. Whether relaxing the hot tub in the evenings or heading out to explore during the day, it was the ideal home base. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Northern Michigan getaway"

"I have a couple of contructive comments. Our stay was wonderful. When it rained, it looked like some of the gutters were clogged so that on one or two of the rooms' awnings over the little decks were flowing like waterfalls! Not ours. Another thing was a constant "beep.beep.beep" from what sounded like some kind of alarm (not super loud) but you could hear it 24 hrs each day . Just concerned it might have been a moisture detection alarm like we have in our basement...BUT...I have very keen hearing, so ither guests may not have notice. My wife and i enjoyed the Happy Hour and the dinner were very tastey with helpful abd friendly waitstaff . The check-in staff was excepcional and recommended that we purchase sunscreen nearby at Dollar General because of the extremely high temps. Thanks....we will definitely return and recommend Lakeview Hotel...unbelievable view of Lake Bellaire. Incredible sunset views! Thank you! Leo Lemery Room 319 June 29-July 1, 2026..."

"We stated 1 night at the Earl and it was great! This was our favorite hotel of our week long trip. I'll mention the only 2 downsides up front: 1. There is only 1 elevator and it's at the very front of the building by check in so if your room is on the other side of the building (it's shaped like a square missing 1 side) then you may have some walking to do BUT this was fine for us and we used the circular staircases when leaving instead. 2. Parking is limited inside their parking lot, however you can park on the main road right next to the building usually and that worked out fine for us as well. The upsides: The location is wonderful and right by downtown and the drawbridge that opens every half hour. Super cool to see the big boats come through. You can also walk to the beach area and up to the mushroom houses if you are good with hills and we enjoyed this walk! The room was MASSIVE - truly twice the size of any other rooms we stayed in at other hotels. The bathroom was also quite large and stocked with Beekman products which was a very nice touch. The staff were top notch! We had no issues with check in or check out. They were able to provide great dining recommendations as well!"
