"Hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Wish I was aware before of the area of town that the hotel is in. There is an encampment right across the street from the entrance and the area is not safe at night for some. "
"Excellent location, rooms, decor and excellent staff. I’d definitely recommend and stay again. If you can swing it, get a terrace facing the port. It won’t disappoint.
A+ 5 Star "
"Le lit etait horrible , chambre 266 , je dore sur la partie droite du lot et il grince a chaque fois que je bouge, donc cela reveille ma femme et ma fille .et moi meme dans mon demi sommeil, qui devient un demi reveil des que je remets ma couette sur moi !!
Insupportable.
Dommage sinon tres bien"

"Amazing location directly above Colbert Metro Station, giving you effortless access to the whole city. You can get anywhere by foot, tram, bus, or metro, and the train station is a ten‑minute walk or one stop away.
The room is generously sized for Europe, especially at this price. The king bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were excellent. We chose a balcony room—good size, but the view isn’t charming, mostly neighbouring balconies with laundry. Being in the city centre means it won’t be quiet before about 3 a.m. if you need the windows open.
Unfortunately, the ventilation didn’t work in our room, and in March it was still warm. We had to rely on open windows, which meant mosquito bites. The furniture looks nice at first glance but is low‑quality up close, and the floor could use a deep clean.
On the positive side, the TV and channel selection were great, and the staff were exceptional—friendly, reassuring, and always present. An unhoused man sleeps outside, but he is harmless, and hotel security is excellent with tap access after 9 p.m. and attentive evening staff.
The shower looks modern, though the water pressure may not satisfy everyone. The cooktop was confusing but functional; an instruction sheet would help. The dishwasher was convenient, and the fridge worked well. (Note: the excellent Carrefour nearby is closed Sundays.)
For the price and location, this hotel is a terrific deal. I would return and recommend it."
