"This is an excellent hotel. Everything is at the kind of quality you would expect for a 5* hotel - the breakfast was particularly good. However, it is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff that stood out for us - everyone seemed to go the extra mile to be helpful, considerate, welcoming, friendly and courteous. "Loved the amenities such as pool areas, spa, breaking buffet, nice staff. As others have noted, rooms could use a refresh. Carpet changed out to vinyl flooring, paint job on the walls would go a long way. Otherwise, loved having a balcony that overlooked the pools and the Mediterranean. We really enjoyed our staff. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff all A++! "

"A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels. "

The entire hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff was polite and helpful in every way, and the amenities were superb (breakfast included and rooftop pool and seating area a huge plus!). The hotel is a short walk to all attractions and eateries and right around the corner from a beautiful sea view.
