The Historic Gould Hotel Seneca Falls, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The best thing about the Gould is its location - within easy walking distance of just about everything there is to see and do in Seneca Falls. The property itself is more than adequate - there's no restaurant or bar there but there are several practically adjacent. Big parking lot - free of charge also a plus."
"Wonderful 1920’s hotel. We have stayed a number of times over the last few years. It is safe, intersting and convenient to Syracuse University. We have just loved the historical features of the hotel. Not fancy, but clean comfortable and friendly. Now it is being overhauled by A chain and remodeling is feeling cheep. Room doors over painted and sticking badly. Other minor things we were willing to chalk up to growing pains until we learned about the generic overhaul of the lobby planned to obliterate the charming and gorgeous carved cement entrance . I’m happy to see a great old hotel get saved, but no need to take away its charm!"
"I like the room. It was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well and the room was nice and cool. The refrigerator was wonderful because it kept a lot stuff nice and cold. I even brought a small ice cube tray with me and made ice and it froze nicely. The only major issue I had was when I went to take a shower. It seemed like the hot water was taken a very long time to get hot and it didn’t stay hot but very long. I also lost some water pressure while I was in there and it was only in the shower for about five minutes. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to other others. We were also able to check in before three, which was really nice."
"Hotelthe front desk ladies, on arrival and upon leaving and once in between were absolutely rude. Like speaking to them was bothering them. Otherwise perfectly great stay. The beds were very comfortable, rooms were so clean and great water pressure in shower. The property was so pretty."
