The first night we went to tell the front desk that the carpet was soaked all in front of the window. Guy came to say that the AC was leaking. The solution was to turn off the AC. It was so hot in the room the next day and night. The bathroom shower and corners of room have black mold. I assume it is the leak issue because after the AC was shut off it was quite moist in the room. I spoke to the desk again. No fixes no apologies etc. Also a very loud hotel since the people partying in the pool area late at night echoes into the rooms.

It's been many years since we've stayed at an HI. We were very pleased with the facility and staff and will consider HI's in the future. The breakfast was a special treat with wonderful staff and food.

I stayed here in March this year 2 nights. Had a good experience. Stayed 4/6 the price had nearly double, I think for the solar eclipse. In the room we found hair/ pubic hair near the drain in the shower. The hand soap near the sink was empty. We had to reach into the shower for soap. I took pictures if anyone would like to see. I feel we should be compensated in some manner.

We had a great stay here. The room was very nice and quiet. The fitness center and pool is as nice as the photos. The breakfast was delicious. Keep in mind it’s not free. And the pool was not heated.

Loved the dove hygiene products in the bathroom! Room was nice and clean and good size. Bed was a little too hard for my liking. And didn’t really like that you had to pay for breakfast. But the pool area was very nice and clean. I would stay there again.

Lovely staff
The service was great! I strongly recommend prepaying for breakfast. Sunday’s breakfast was a la carte but i was able to use my meal ticket to order any meal from the menu. It snowed 6 in while I was there and a gentleman who was clearing the parking lot helped me clear the snow off the roof of my van. Everyone was kind and helpful, and the room was quiet and comfortable. I will definitely be back the next time I need to stay in Auburn.

Not so great of a hotel
Desk clerk was non attentive like she really didn’t want to be there. First first try, my keypad was in op took it back to the front desk made another one. No apology just handed it to me checking out to get a receipt they could not print a receipt because it was a third-party booking, never heard of anything so ridiculous. TV remote was in op. You get what you pay for my next stay in this town will probably be at the Hilton across the street.

Beautiful ,Great comfy bed . The pool area was very noisy till 9:45. Kids just having fun but noisy in the room. Sound seemed to echo in the large pool area. Yes i would go back

The hotel itself was excellent. The staff was all excellent it was clean the beds were comfortable the pool was lovely. The area itself is a really depressed prison town. We didn’t spend any time outside so that was fine. I didn’t feel unsafe it’s just not a very scenic area. We were in town for the Skaneateles Dickens festival. Breakfast was delicious and worth getting for the extra $11 a person. I feel like the hotel was a good value for the money.

Sheets creased—I was told by General Manager Joe that they don’t iron their sheets. Bed mattress in Suite 511 was too saggy. The TV lacked half the premium channels they claimed to have. Room is not properly soundproofed from a major road throughAuburn NY. Air conditioner/heater element is somewhat loud. Staff are friendly. Room was spacious.

I didnt like that breakfast wasnt free..our stay was nice but double a normal rate,figure free breakfast would make up for how expensive it was bit just added 50 more to bill

Lovely stay!
This was the nicest Holiday Inn I’ve ever been in. Nice pool area, rooms were very nice, comfortable beds, pillows, and blankets. Friendly and helpful at the front desk.

No chairs in the room. I asked in reception in the morning to bring a chair to the room. They said mo problem but they did not do it. Dirty bath tub with a lot of hairs.

I am so sorry you didn’t have a chair in your room and that no one brought one up to you. Unfortunately we don’t have extra furniture for the rooms. We would of had to take one out of another room to put into yours. There may have not been an available room to take it out of. We will be getting updated furniture in our rooms soon. I am also very sorry there was hair in your tub as well. I will speak to the housekeeping team about this. We do hope you will give us another chance to exceed your expectations.

Most of our handicap accessible rooms are king rooms. We only have 2 accessible rooms that have two queen beds in them. They may have not been available when you stayed with us. We do hope you will visit us again.
