"Arrived midnight after long flight delay. Welcomed by duty manager. Room clean and good breakfast. A convenient stopping point on journeys through Auch and looked to be an interesting town for a look round. Sadly we just did not have time."

"Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience. "

"What a wonderful historic building this is. Nice specious courtyard and pool area. Staff was so professional and friendly. Easy to store our bicycles in the parking garage. Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Also the food in this restaurant is excellent. Don’t forget to try the soufflé it’s the best we have had ever! Breakfast great too. Would definitely stay here again as only 2 minute walk from the historic center. "

"This was a wonderful place to stay out in the countryside to explore the Gers. It is minutes away from Condom and Romieu, an hour or so from Auch - and in the midst of a number of Armagnac distilleries to discover. My room was very comfortable, breakfasts were excellent, and the one dinner I had was exquisite."

"We stayed just one night on a fleeting motorbike tour. Plenty of secure parking for the bike and no problem with the surface. Florence is welcoming and helpful, a very interesting and talented lady. She holds one of those, nowadays, rare qualities of creative vision. I have stayed in far too many soul less, clinical lodgings that I care to mention. This being the perfect antidote. "No air-conditioning — while this is perhaps mentioned somewhere, we did not notice when booking. We spent two nights there, with daily highs around 40 Celsius. 4m ceilings and stone walls help somewhat, but still, not very comfortable. The bathroom lacks shelving and counter space. Lastly, we booked an Armagnac tour and experience, but apparently the person who does it is not working on Tuesdays. One of the staff members opened the place for us and explained a few things, but still again: why take a reservation for something you know you cannot do. Of the nice things: The grounds are nice, we enjoyed walking through the vineyards in the mornings. The starters at the dinner were also exceptional. The staff were friendly and it felt like home. "

"Salvador is a great host and very helpful. We really enjoyed our short stay. We stayed during a heatwave so the room was fairly warm in spite of Salvador's efforts to cook it down. But, he is working in improving that. And to be fair, the weather was exceptionally hot! The pool is excellent and certainly made to for it. "
