The sleigh bed and size of the bed was nice. It can be hard to find this in Scotland. I wouldn’t say Elgin was our favorite spot in our 2 weeks in Scotland, and this hotel was average with a cool old feel. The breakfast was nice. Laichmoray Hotel
This hotel offers one of the best breakfasts I have had. This is my second visit and it is great - staff are friendly and welcoming also.

Taigh Mor
The room was clean. However, we decided not to stay as we did not feel safe. The door has a very weak lock and access from the street up to the rooms is open to anyone. Also, the en suite bathroom and toilet door did not close or lock.
