Shayne was great. We rented the apartment for a couple nights. Clean and comfortable. This area is walkable. We walked to Mount Eden from Shooters. We stayed during the week so it was very quite and relaxing.

Sweet Stay at Shooters

I can highly recommend this place to stay, Shane the manager is friendly, the rooms are clean and a good size, there are a variety of great restaurants within walking distance

Decent budget stay

For a budget accommodation option Shooters is very good. I got an in room shower with toilets close by. Room was clean and relatively comfortable. The area around it is fairly bleak at night but it is close to the CBD. In an expensive city like Auckland this can help with budgeting a lot.

after a long journey i arrived to be told that although i had booked a room with a shower, my "room" did not have one. the "room" ended up being a storage type unit with two beds crammed into it in a carpark. beside what appeared to be a brothel. I was also told there was going to be a party that night in the forecourt beside my room. within 10 minutes of seeing the room i cancelled it and was told by the hotel I would have to seek a refund through Wotif

Nice room for a reasonable price

We had a nice room with a comfortable bed and nice shower, the toilet was shared with the bar. Poor lighting in the room. The toilet was a mess when we returned at 5am from our gig as and they'd had a Hen's Party in the bar.

The owner was very helpful. Facilities are clean and comfortable. The accommodation is cabins and with toilets separate as explained on website. The cabins are right next to the Shooters hotel and is a young travelers sort of place, so expect noise, as explained on the website.

Nice hotel close to public transport and fast food

We've been apart for a year and that's why when he called me he's here for a short visit i thought i'll book a room for us to spend a night and catch up before he returns.It was our first time staying in a hotel together as well. We had a good time,our room was nice and comfy,clean and closer to the wash rooms.The location was easy to find. Closer to fast food take aways and kingsland train station. We just walked there to catch our train home. We enjoyed our stay there that night.If he's gonna come back,we will definitely pop in again.haha.All in all thank you so much, we really enjoyed our night at the shooters hotel.Till next time..thanks TM and D..

Nice friendly character building, great location.

The service here is great, and everything was nice and clean. It is an older building undergoing renovations, so obviously not in perfect condition but priced accordingly. Great location, $6 taxi to town and easy access on and off motorway.

Really not fit for accommodation.

Although the owner is amenable, and the cabins are clean, they are totally not soundproof, and its as if you are on the road. and in the bar (at night= something needs to be done to make them habitable.

Well I certainly got what I paid for, the room was disgusting, musty smell had to pull out my perfume to spray the room disgusting. One of the electric sockets had an accumulation on dust on it and had come away from the wall with wires sticking out. Absolutely appalling.
