Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean . Bed was very comfortable and the pillows too. Lovely hotel . Just location for concerts at Eden Park. Only a suggestion it would have been great if there were tissues in the rooms. Other than that I would stay there again.

We arrived tired from the flight from Canada at 7:30 AM and staff did everything they could to accommodate our getting into our room early. Good advice on things to do and a great restaurant in house. Close to all great “things to do”. Lovely.

Very cool building/renovation. Very friendly and helpful staff and Ada, the in-house restaurant, is also well worth visiting as is the bar. Some of the rooms are small (as you'd expect) but delightfully appointed and the artwork/decoration has a great balance between respecting the history of the building and having some fun.

It was easy to find, decor was good, but the check-in process was met with an unhappy manager. The website closes at 7pm, but I got through to make a booking at 7.30pm. Nothing was said about this online, so we had to wait for the duty manager to turn up and didn't get to our room til well after 9pm
